Signals Research Report uses Spirent Testing Solution
Signals Research Group has announced the findings of the industry's only independent HSPA+ and HSPA chipset data performance benchmark test. The SRG report reveals large performance differences between HSPA+ chipsets and devices, as well as between commercial devices and solutions supplied directly by vendors. "Unlike years past, no single company dominated the competition; however there still remains a meaningful performance gap between commercially-procured devices and vendor-supplied solutions," said Michael Thelander, CEO, Signals Research Group. "This suggests that, while the industry is reaching a degree of maturity, in particular with the lower category chipsets, these improved features have yet to enter the distribution channel."
Using a lab-based testing approach with the Spirent 8100 solution, SRG collected and analyzed performance results of sixteen different device/chipset configurations from nine chipset companies, including HiSilicon (Huawei), Icera, Intel Mobile Communications, MediaTek, Motorola, Qualcomm, Renesas Mobile, Samsung, and ST-Ericsson. These configurations included seven HSPA+ (Category 14, up to 21Mbps) devices from five chipset suppliers, and nine HSPA(Category 8, up to 7.2Mbpsor Category 10, up to 14.4Mbps) devices from six chipset suppliers.
The report indicates that, although the variation between vendor-supplied chipsets is becoming less significant, the biggest differences exist with HSPA+ chipsets. Hello, found a Sports Illustrated Kids mag, - The top 20 under 20 , went to list it for sale and only found 3 others ranging from $20. to $99. all in used condition, one at $50. was ex-library with stamps. went to ebay to find the one selling it for $99. here on Amazon there on ebay at $99. too. Only One. Couldn't find it on Half. Mine is in Brand New Mint condition. I am not kidding. So I am thinking I either found a rare treasure of a collectors item or the other sellers are in a ruse or something. How could I find out for sure if it is a treasure and what all it is supposed to entail other than the amazon description? (I would not want to sell something to someone for a lot to only have it missing cards or something.) Does anyone out there have a clue?
Ebay's always been my method of determining worth - setting a high reserve and seeing if there are bids.
