Sutra Magazine on Bridal Hair and Beauty

Women, even in this day and age dream of that perfect fairytale wedding. Whether she is exquisitely dressed in white or elegantly draped in red, a key factor that makes her day is her hair and makeup.

In each edition, SUTRA Magazine takes you on a journey surrounding various elements of bridal beauty and hair. SUTRA showcases professional make up artists and hairstylists; while also providing us with tricks of the trade for our own personal touch ups.

"The elaborate flower-infused hair piece of South Indian tradition has undergone a style revamp through the use of elaborate beading interwoven in the existing hair piece.

For the North Indian hair style, hair accessories encrusted with diamonds, pearl headgear and silver hairpins are fast becoming in vogue.

The overly made-up look of yester-year is a no-no, and bronzed glitter and shimmer is all the rage. For tradition lovers, matte finishes are still used while the colours used are fresh and contemporary. Heavily kohl lined eyes with long eyelids painted with heavy mascara is the much-needed traditional touch."

About the Author

shooters and gun collectors, what are some of the coolest tips and tricks you have learned?

I am talking about shooting techniques, custom do it yourself gunsmith work, loading magazines, cleaning, accessories, or anything else you can think of that has improved your gun knowledge and shooting experience. where did you learn it from? ie: magazine, book, internet, another gun owner, figured it out yourself, ect. don't hold out on us, we all have something that we thought was awesome when we learned it.
also if you could explain how you did these tips/tricks it would be appreciated.

You know the spring inside a disposable cigarette lighter? It pushes the flint up...
It's a perfect size for the detent springs on an AR15.

Rubbing a casing over pitting with lots of oil with scratch off the rust, but not hurt the finish that remains.

Very fine steel wool will remove the brass residue, if used lightly it won't damage the finish.

Permanent marker works great for touching up a black finish... Don't let anyone know you used permanent marker, or they'll instantly think it looks bad. If they don't know, they'll think it looks great.

Really rough, almost sand-paper-like toilet paper is great for scrubbing on tough carbon buildup, without hurting the finish.

Most springs and detents for one gun are the same size as the springs and detents for something else.... The trick is finding out what that something else is.

You're experienced when you no longer consider whether or not adding a rail, flashlight, laser, vertical foregrip, bipod, collapsible folding stock, pistol grip. red dot scope, magnified scope, back up iron sights, free float tube, and single point sling.... To a Cricket .22LR, so that it may be fired single handedly, while spitting cartridges into the action from your mouth.... is sensible. You just realize that the customer is always right.

Just because ammunition is old, corroded, and probably unsafe for use... Don't throw it away. Pull the bullets and burn the powder...

If there's an argument as to which firearm out of several is the best.... Then it doesn't really matter which one you pick, as both are sufficient. (Glock vs. 1911, AK vs. AR, 9mm vs. .45ACP) If there is an argument... That means there's someone to argue for it.

And one that if I told you, I'd have to kill you... I actually plan on getting a patent on this and creating a formal tool... So I can't share it, for now....
