Fun and Funky Antique Vintage Rings

You hear it all the time.  They just don't make 'em like the used to.  Well, guess what sister?  "They" are right.  Especially when it comes to jewelry and rings.  There is just something special about the old pieces and you can almost tell it from the instant you lay your eyes on one.  But, never fret, you can still score some great deals on vintage rings and other jewelry and a lot of craftsmen are making quality vintage reproductions these days.  So, if you are on a budget, you don't have to suffer for it.

Aaaah! Where do I get my vintage rings?!

Mama needs her fix!

Don't worry, girlie, there are lots of great deals to be had on fun, funky and hip rings for ladies. Just stumbling around lead me many Internet websites and they have tons of deals on vintage rings, antique rings and vintage reproductions rings. Since they are showcasing ebay auctions, you can really find some great deals in there, but you need to check back often. The best deals don't last long!

Gothic Wedding Rings & Bands are not easy to find, so I thought I would put together a selection of rings that are Gothic Inspired even though they may not be labeled as such. Some of you may find them too "mainstream', while others may think they're a little "over the top ". I guess it all depends on your Goth leanings. In any case, I hope you can find something that will fit your particular Goth Style!

Vintage strat neck versus Modern strat Neck?

I tried some vintage reissue strats and a lone star strat and the vintage reissues were a bit harder to bend the strings. I know the only differences are the frets and the neck radius. I was told that the neck radius only causes fret out (which i didn't find), so is this true? And could the frets make a big difference in terms of bending the strings?
Thanks
Please Read the question as whoever just answered the question first wrote something that I never asked. Thanks....

Hi! The frets will make little difference, as compared to the fretboard radius. Imagine a very small radius, and how once you move the string slightly off-axis how it will contact the adjacent higher frets. If the fretboard had an infinity radius, you would never have to worry about any interference with other frets. Admittedly, bigger frets will allow for ease of "pushing" the strings; but really, it is just a matter of spatial relationships, no mystery involved! Best regards, Dana
